1. Name of the Post : Director, Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), G.U.
No. of Post : 01
Pay Band : Rs.37,400/- -- 67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.10,000

Educational Qualification : Master Degree with atleast 55% marks and Ph.D. in the allied/ relevant disciplines and A minimum of 10 (ten) years of teaching experience in University/College

Age : Age should not be above 55 years on 01.09.2016

2. Name of the Post : Lady Medical Officer, G.U. Hospital
No. of Post : 01
Pay Band : Rs.12,000/- -- 40,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.6,100/-

Educational Qualification : Candidates must be MBBS from a recognized University with Hospital Experience in Gynecology.

Age : Candidates should not be above 40 years as on 01.09.2016.

3. Name of the Post : System Officer (IT), G.U.
No. of Post : 01
Pay Band : Rs.12,000/- -- 40,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.6,100/-

Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering/IT/MCA with atleast a first class and also atleast 5 (five) years’ experience in the relevant field.

Age : Should not be above 38 years as on 01.09.2016

Application fee : Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only and in case of SC/ST Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only by Demand Draft in favour of the “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch.
