Educational Qualification: Graduate from recognized University with Bachelor's degree in Library Science.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years. 

2. Name of the Post: Technical Assistant

No. of Vacancies: 10 

Pay Scale: (PB-1) Rs.5,200-20,200/- + GP Rs.2,000/-

Educational Qualification: 12th passed with Science from recognized board.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years. 

3. Name of the Post: Stenographer Gr. II

No. of Vacancies: 02

Pay Scale: (PB-1) Rs.5,200-20,200/- + GP Rs.2,400/-

Educational Qualification:  12th passed with Science from recognized board with minimum typing speed 80 words per minute in Stenography English/Hindi.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years. 

4. Name of the Post: Forest Guard

No. of Vacancies: 02 

Pay Scale: (PB-1) Rs.5,200-20,200/- + GP Rs.1,800/-

Educational Qualification: 10th passed with Science from recognized board with certificate in Fire Fighting.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years. 

5. Name of the Post: Multi-Tasking Staff

No. of Vacancies: 09 

Pay Scale: (PB-1) Rs.5,200-20,200/- + GP Rs.1,800/-

Educational Qualification: 10th passed with Science from recognized board/school with 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years. 

Application Fee: Rs.200/- Only for General and OBC category candidates. No application fee for PWD/Female/SC/ST candidates. Application fee paid through non-refundable Demand Draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.
