Recruitment of Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Assam 2014

Application are invited from eligible candidates  who are citizen of india for filling up the following posts under the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Assam

1. Sub- Inspector of Statistics= 31 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20,200/- + GP of Rs. 3000/- PM
Qualification: B.A, B.Sc., B.Com with Mathematics / Statistics Economics as one of the subject.Candidates must have Diploma in Computer Application having sufficient knowledge on operating computer.

2. Primary Investigator / Computer =27 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20,200/- + GP of Rs. 2400/- PM
Qualification: Arts, Science and Commerce HS/PU ( 10+2) Passed with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subject and must have Diploma in Computer Application having good knowledge on operating computer.

3. Field Assistant= 49 Posts 
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20,200/- + GP of Rs. 2200/- PM
Qualification: Passed in H.S.L.C. Exam from a recognized Board. Candidates may have Diploma in Computer Application having sufficient knowledge on operating computer.

4. Junior Artist – cum- Draftsman: 01 post
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20,200/- + GP of Rs. 3000/- PM
Qualification: HS/PU ( 10+2) having Diploma Certificate in Fine / Commercial Arts form recognized Art Institution and having Diploma in Computer Application with good working knowledge in computer.

5. Junior Assistant (Hqrs.)= 09 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20,200/- + GP of Rs. 2400/- PM
Qualification : HS/PU ( 10+2) and candidates must have Diploma in Computer Application having sufficient knowledge on computer.


 How to Apply:- Candidates must have to submit their application in Standard Form IX as published in Assam Gazette along with Xerox copies of certificate , mark sheets , caste certificate, etc declared by himself /herself as Certified to be the true copy of the original and 2 copies of recent passport size photographs affixed on the Top right corner of the Application Form and should be reached to the DIRECTORATE OF ECONOMICS AND STATISTICS, TRIPURA ROAD, BELTOLA , GUWAHATi – 781028.
